Executive Director

A unique opportunity to lead and develop a small but powerful force linking higher education and social activism in southern Africa.

The Canon Collins Trust supports dynamic and resourceful leaders from the southern Africa region who share our commitment to social, economic and environmental justice. We support their activism by offering scholarships for study at universities in South Africa at postgraduate level.

Reporting to the board of trustees, our next Director will be an inspirational leader able to attract funding, develop programmes and support a team of hard-working people in the UK and in South Africa.

You will have the ability to work at both the strategic and operational level and will develop and communicate a clear vision for the Trust. You will be able to network confidently and effectively at all levels.

You must be self-motivated as you will work from home.  You must have an excellent knowledge of the UK and South Africa.  You can expect to travel occasionally between the two.
