The Youth of Today-a Poem

The youth of today bearers of tomorrow’s flame, descendants of struggle, born from the ashes of pain.

The youth of today
bearers of tomorrow’s flame,
descendants of struggle,
born from the ashes of pain.

They who carried us through
the shadowed halls of oppression,
brave hearts pounding
to the rhythm of rebellion.

They sang songs of freedom, that cracked the sky,
songs that summoned dawn,
songs that stitched hope
into the fabric of torn nations.

They are the dreamers, the change makers, yes
but also, the architects of those dreams.
Truth seekers, light-bringers,
refusing to bow to silence, refusing to hide their true nature.

Today, we rise in salute
to the young warriors of the now:
The curious minds,
the soul-shifting poets,
the healers with code and chemistry,
the rebels who write in rhythms and fire.

They are the curse-breakers
unlearning shame, rewriting names, rewriting history
dismantling the lies they were fed
and planting futures in their place.

The scientists who reimagine stars,
the writers who bend time with ink,
the innovators shaping justice
with hands born to create.

They are not the leaders of tomorrow
they are leading now.
With wisdom tattooed in their DNA,
and courage humming in their veins.

So let the world remember, and let the world know
The youth are not waiting for permission.
They are the storm,
the sanctuary,
the story
and the salvation.
