An Evening of Traditional and Afro-fusion Music Performance
On a cold December night, elegant men and women gathered in the Crown Room of the Bank of England to be entertained and inspired by the musical talents of our alumna Edith Katiji. The room cannot have seen many occasions like this one, filled with the jubilant sounds of Zimbabwe ..the kind of rousing music that you cannot help but move yourself to.
All worked tirelessly to bring to life a magnificent evening of celebration in honour of Dewa Mavhinga, our late alumnus, whose life was so tragically cut short. Our hope through this evening is to obtain support to establish the Dewa Mavhinga Social Justice Scholarship for a Zimbabwean Human Rights scholar.
