A Cause to Come Together
Several education scholars and alumni made good society at a conference exploring research for social good

The South African Educational Research Association Conference bring together education academics and researchers from all over South Africa, from different organisations. The conference asks the question of how education research can be used for social good.
This year’s SAERA conference also just happened to bring together several of our education scholars and alumni, working to achieve social justice through their educational research. They played various roles from facilitation, to presentation and attendance. Present were Sara Black, Helga Jansen-Daugbjerg, Keneilwe Mathaba, Jaques Pretorius, Precious Simba, Angelique Thomas, and Ashley Visagie.
