Biography

Marco Lemmer Da Silva Almeida is driven to assist activists, communities, and people in realising the full extent of their fundamental rights by using the law as an instrument of social change. Marco is a practicing attorney at Kropman Attorneys, a public interest law firm focused on litigation surrounding socio-economic rights. Marco has had a keen interest in public law and the interplay between the state and the people it exists to serve. Marco is pursuing an LLM in Human Rights Law with the aim of advancing South African jurisprudence through international law developments.
