Biography
Gillian leads the Canon Collins Network of scholars and alumni, strengthening connections and engagement across a diverse and growing community. Her work focuses on building relationships and leveraging networks to enable learning, leadership development and sustained social impact.
With over 35 years’ experience across the education and community development sectors in South Africa and Lesotho, she brings a strong commitment to approaches that centre relationships, knowledge sharing, and long-term systems change. Gillian is also a Canon Collins Trust alumna and holds a PhD in Adult Education from the University of the Witwatersrand.
