Biography

Ntimulo Sharon Chauke is a passionate environmental scientist from Limpopo, currently completing her Honours degree in Zoology at the University of Johannesburg. Her research focuses on assessing the aquatic health of Gauteng wetlands to support biodiversity conservation and sustainable water management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Life and Environmental Sciences, majoring in Botany and Zoology. Sharon has served as a laboratory demonstrator, is a proud member of the GradStar Top 100, and volunteers with SETAC Africa. She is driven by her love for nature and aims to contribute to environmental research that improves both ecosystems and community well-being.
