Biography

Prince Kudakwashe Kahari was raised in the coal mining town of Hwange, Zimbabwe, where the effects of extractive activities and legalised discrimination of LGBTI persons have long limited access to healthcare. Prince has been deeply committed to advancing inclusive policy reform. A holder of a BSocSci in Politics and Public Management, he is passionate about shaping evidence-based policies on HIV/AIDS that centre the needs of men who have sex with men and transgender women, who remain the most vulnerable key populations. Now pursuing an MA in Political Science at Witswatersrand University, Prince is acquiring the analytical tools and advocacy skills necessary to empower communities to lead initiatives that hold systems accountable and promote equitable health outcomes.
