Catherine is Partnership and Development Manager at the Canon Collins Trust. Her work includes establishing a social justice alliance of civil society and higher education and a transdisciplinary framework for social justice research. Catherine is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships to support the Trust locally and internationally. This includes curating influential thought leadership communication in social justice research. Catherine Sofianos has worked in development and communication for 20 years. She is a pioneer and visionary at heart and is passionately committed to using her skills to influence social change. She is a widely published thought leader and an award-winning writer and filmmaker. She has a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from the University of Cape Town, a pending master’s in Film and Television from the University of Witwatersrand and numerous short courses.
