Biography

Nande Mbekela is an agent of change; passionate about advocacy and social justice. She is currently pursuing an MA in Journalism, specializing in ethical journalism and democracy. Her work with NGOs such as the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) and her leadership experience with Enactus Rhodes have honed her expertise in communications, community engagement, advocacy, and investigative journalism. Deeply committed to media representation and peacebuilding, Nande strives to advance advocacy initiatives and champion ethical media practices that foster inclusive and equitable societies.
