Glynn Alard
Biography
Glynn Alard is an educator at the Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town, South Africa. His areas of teaching include Indigenous Social History and Natural History. Much of his work with schools, communities, activists, and artists relate to the culture, language, and identity of the San and Khoe peoples and their descendants. His interests include the urban phenomenon of the resurgence of indigenous identity in urban communities and how museums can build and fulfil an integral role in this area of public culture. He has an MSc in Ecology and will commence studies for an MA in Heritage in 2025.
