Tulonga Iitula, from Okahao, Namibia, is a Senior Education Officer for English Second Language (ESL) with years of experience in curriculum instruction, development and management. Ms Iitula understands the importance of continued professional development and teacher support programmes. In light of this, she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education: English Language Teaching at Rhodes University, with a focus on reputable theories and practices of ESL pedagogy, in hopes to efficiently guide and support the teachers towards achieving better academic performance in ESL. She advocates for child welfare and has founded The Twins Haven Foundation which supports vulnerable twin and triplet babies from the Omusati and Kunene regions.
