Biography
Lenin was born Chikomba, Zimbabwe and grew up there and later in Harare. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Hons with the University of Zimbabwe. He was Vice President of the University of Zimbabwe Students Union (2012-2013). As an activist, he was suspended and arrested a number of times for standing up for democracy and academic freedom. He completed his LLM (Economic Regulation) with the University of London on a Canon Collins Scholarship, 2015-2017. He has worked with social justice groups such as ZIMCODD, Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association & the Southern Africa Campaign to Dismantle Corporate Power. He is the founder of the Progressive Centre for Economic and Environmental Justice in Africa (AfroProJustice), a volunteer organisation registered as a Trust in Zimbabwe. He aims to be a leading community organiser, writer & researcher on political rights, economic and environmental justice in Sub-Saharan Africa and internationally.
